Coach

The University School Bus Service is primarily intended for the daily commute of CUHK students and staff (e.g. for attending classes, work, or meals). To avoid disruption to regular school bus operations, hirers hosting large-scale or high-attendance events should arrange their own coaches to transport participants (regardless of whether they are CUHK members) to and from specified campus locations.

The university campus is built on a hilly terrain with a lot of narrow and winding roads. Besides, some areas such as Station Road and Central Avenue are particularly busy. Therefore, uncoordinated coach movements and parking on campus would inevitably cause delays and obstruction to campus traffic To minimize the impact on campus traffic and school bus services, those planning to arrange dedicated vehicles are requested to infrom the Transport Office in advance, so that suitable times and pick-up/drop-off points could be worked out.

  1. For drop-off/ pick-up only at the round-about in front of the Hall (Managed by Security Office).
  2. Maximum length: 12 meters, maximum of two numbers can be accommodated at the same time.
  3. Arrival time and number(s) of vehicle(s) must be submitted 7 working days in advance. Late reservation will not be entertained.
     

Van and Truck

  1. For unloading/ loading only at Loading Bay. Maximum of one number can be accommodated at the same time.
     

Others

  1. The Hall will provide up to 30 hours of free parking coupons every booking day to the External Hirers of Auditorium.
  2. Please collect the parking coupons at Enquiries Counter of Sir Run Run Shaw Hall Foyer.
