By Bus
Visitors can take the buses nos. 72、72A、73A and 74A or take green mini-buses nos. 28K and 28S in New Territories to enter through University Gate Entrance and reach the Hall.

By MTR
Visitors can take the MTR to University Station (Exit A or D) and take a walk to the Hall through the campus by following the walking routers.

By University School Bus
CUHK students and staff can take Route 1A, 1B, 2, 3, N or H, and get off at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall bus stop.
The campus school bus service of CUHK is governed by relevant government licencing provisions and service terms, and the service is designated for CUHK students and staff only. Therefore, other individuals and visitors are required to arrange their own transportation to various locations on campus.
By Paid Shuttle Light Bus
Visitors can take the Paid Shuttle Light Bus and get off at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall bus stop. (Bus stop location)
By Private Car
Please note that parking space is not available at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall. Please visit Parking Arrangement for details.
Campus Access
CUHK Smartcard Holders
- Smartcard holders will need to validate their cards at the card reading devices to verify validity of smartcards upon entry into campus.
- Where necessary, smartcard holders might be requested to produce their HKIDs for verification of identity.
Pre-Registered Visitors
- Pre-registered Visitors: Will receive QR Codes issued by the respective colleges / faculties / units using an online template developed by the University.
- These QR Codes are person specific and valid only for the date specified by the issuing colleges / faculties / units.
- Visitors should present their QR Codes for validation (as well as HKIDs for verification of identity if necessary) at campus entry points in order to gain entry into campus.
CUHK Alumni
- Holders of CUHK Alumni Credit Cards: Should present their cards at campus entry points in order to gain entry into campus.
- Where necessary, credit card holders might be requested to produce their HKIDs for verification of identity.
All other visitors who cannot provide the CUHK-related documents above are required to register their HKIDs, etc, at campus entry points in order to gain entry into campus. The University reserves the right to refuse any visitors to the campus if circumstances require.

Lift Services
There is no lift services in the Hall.
Vending Machines and Water Dispensers/ Fountains
There are no vending machines, water dispensers or water fountains in the Hall. For locations of water dispensers/water fountains accessible to student, please check the Locations of water dispensers/water fountains on campus (or Map) of Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Office of the University.
Barrier-free Facilities and Services
Auditorium spaces for wheelchairs are available at the Hall by prior arrangement at the time of ticket booking. Physical facilities include:
- Wheelchair ramps at Foyer and Exit D
- Spaces designated for wheelchairs in Auditorium
- Toilets at G/F designed for people with physical disabilities
Lost Property
All lost items will be kept at the Enquiry Counter for 7 days. Valuable items will then be transferred to the University's Security Office (or the CU Link Card Centre for CU Link cards) if no one claims the items. The rest will be disposed of once a month.
