The Office of the Arts Administrator
The Office of the Arts Administrator is responsible for organizing and promoting campus-wide arts activities. It provides educational opportunities in the arts for students’ holistic development. Since 2009, the Office has launched a Student Cultural Ambassador Scheme which offers subsidies for students to visit arts events including performances and visual arts exhibitions and creates a platform for students to share their arts experiences through the regular meetings. It also regularly invites artists and critics to give talks on cultural issues. The “CUHK Culture Trail” Guided Tour is a popular programme for students and the public to re-discover the beautiful landscape of the campus. The Office publishes a monthly Chinese University arts calendar Embark to enliven the cultural atmosphere and promote arts activities on the campus.
