Movie Screening and Post-Screening Discussion: Time Still Turns the Pages

SEN Service team together with the Wellness and Counselling Centre of the Office of Student Affairs will organize a Special Educational Needs & Wellness Week from 19 to 23 February 2024. A series of wellness activities will be hosted to raise awareness about mental well-being. Join us and learn more about our service through games booths, mindfulness workshops and a special movie screening. Together, let’s foster meaningful connections within the CUHK community.

A heart-breaking film by director Nick Cheuk, this film stems from his personal experience and address issues such as student suicide tragedies and generational traumas in families. In addition to inviting director Nick to share his script ideas and film production details, the event also features Mr. Tsang Chin-kwok, the Executive Director of Samaritans Hong Kong, Prof Roger Chung and Dr. Ann Lau, Co-Director of the CUHK Centre for Bioethics, who will provide diverse perspectives on issues related to youth suicide and mental health addressed in the film.

This event is jointly organized by Wellness and Counselling Centre and Centre for Bioethics, All CUHK students and staff are welcome.
